Day 21

Well I was at a party last night so I didn't get update time... But here goes. I am failing epically.
I went for my driving test today... and failed :( It sucked. I was so sad. So I almost was able to cross that off...
I have already tried my gross vegetable of the month... eggplant. It wasn't too bad but it was mixed in with a bunch of noodles and other vegetables and chicken... so I don't know if I really tasted much of it.
I started the breakfast and elliptical one... I made it a week into the month breakfast challenge then epic failed. Oh well I will try both again!! I drank five glasses of water for a week. I like that one a lot.
I watched the first Underworld, half of Underworld II and half of Gladiator... So I am almost through 3 recommended movies :P
The party was for a boy from my church so I really am making an effort in that department. also, me and my friend Harry had a fight but we patched things up :D Yay!
I will post the quotes next update. I promise :P
Cheers.

Day 13

Here's my weekly update, hopefully happening every Thursday from now on. Well my internet has been down making me frustrated with CALM but it will happen... *sigh*. I am booked to go for my driver's test this weekend. I am freaking out! I am really enjoying the 7 glasses of water a day. My skin feels smoother already! :) I am a bit behind on the elliptical running but I WILL prevail. I am really doing well in the Desperate Housewives category... Which is kind of pathetic but... c'est la vie.

Those quotes are coming but my notebook is in the basement... I ate one bite of turnip (the texture caused some major gagging). OH and I saw Seven Pound on the recommendation of a good friend. Unfortunatley... I figured the whole movie out before it happened! I mean I didn't even read any spoilers before! It kind of ruined it for me... Overall the movie was good though.

Cheers!

Day 8

Well it's been more than a week! *gasp* :P I am still in Genesis... I find the Old Testemant a little hard to stay focused on but after Genesis I will reread Matthew :) (my favorite book). I have been playing a little Sims and Harvest Moon but am still no wear near my goals. I plan on getting my license next week... and I am behind in CALM :O. I have started the running on the elliptical goal and the five glasses of water a day goal. Oh and I haven't posted my last quote of the week but that will be in the next update.... Tonight I am going to see my first "recommended" movie, Seven Pounds. I am very exited for it!!

Cheers.

Day 5!

Well... I have had NO time this week :( Dumb school... I am slowly working my way through Genesis in the Bible though and I have plans to see a "recommended" movie this weekend. Other than that I have no real activity to report. I MUST back-up my lap top though so... hopefully I will have 1/33 there soon. Cheers!

101 Things in 1001 Days

Hi! I am so exited to start this challenge. My start date is today, Friday the 13th of February, 2009. My endate will be 11/11/11. :) I love the way the numbers worked out!

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Some common goal setting tips:
1. Be decisive. Know exactly what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it.

2. Stay Focussed. Any goal requires sustained focus from beginning to end. Constantly evaluate your progress.

3. Welcome Failure. Frequently, very little is learned from a venture that did not experience failure in some form. Failure presents the opportunity to learn and makes the success more worthy.

4. Write down your goals. It clarifies your thinking and reinforces your commitment.

5. Keep your goals in sight. Review them frequently, and ensure that they are always at the forefront of your thinking.
